It is simple
- You have your internet pages or reports from your business intelligence (like Oracle BI, Cognos, SAP etc.) ...
- You define terms in our business dictionary ...
- ... thanks to Semanta Air you connect these to worlds together: terms on your internet pages or business intelligence reports will be highlighted. When you click on them Semanta Air fetches the explanation directly to the report or web page
How it works
Semanta Air works with HTML documents. A simple javascript added to a HTML calls our Semanta Air server. The server reads the text visible on your screen and when it finds a term defined in the dictionary, it underlines the term. When you click on such a highlighted term, Semanta Air just displays a small pop-up window above your HTML document. There is the explanation from Semanta Business Dictionary shown in the small pop-up window.
